Supreme Court of Pakistan has declared that now only those candidates will be given admission in 5 years LLB program, who will pass the Law Admission Test LAT. This LAT test will be conducted twice in a year and it result will remain valid for two years. Higher education commission of Pakistan HEC will take the Law Admission Test LAT. LAT test will be free for all as no admission fee will be received for this test.
Pattern of HEC ETC Law Admission Test LAT

Personal Statement Writing in English or Urdu languages- 10 marks
MCQs English paper about Synonym/Antonym/Prepositions- 20 marks
General Knowledge MCQs- 20 Numbers
Islamic Studies MCQs- 10 Marks
Pakistan Studies MCQs – 10 Numbers
Urdu MCQs about vocabulary- 10 Numbers
Basic Mathematics MCQs- 5 Marks
Total marks of the Law Admission Test LAT will 100. Passing marks will be 50.
Eligibility Criteria
Students should have passed the HSSC part 2 exam, A-Level or any equivalent course. Students waiting for inter part two or equivalent exam can also apply for HEC Law admission test LAT.
Registration Process For HEC ETC Law Admission Test LAT 2024

Test Center Details
Students may choose the test center of their choice from the list given at HEC website. It is recommended for your convenience to select your nearest center.
Registration for HEC Law Admission Test LAT will continue till 0th Jan, 2024. Incomplete applications will be rejected immediately.
Date of the test will be announced soon. Roll number slips will be sent to candidates who will get their-selves registered on HEC website. SMS will also be sent to candidates about the HEC Law Admission Test LAT 2024 date, time and venue.
