Punjab Examination Commission has changed paper pattern of 5th and 8th classes for annual exams 2019. Ratio of objective portion of the papers has been lessen. In past 80 percent of the paper was consist of objective portion and 20 % subjective but now onward both subjective and objective parts will carry equal equal marks. PEC is changing its polices very rapidly without any logic. In spite of facilitating the students it is making the exams more complex.
Candidates will be provided separate question papers in the exams to avoid cheating. Now examiners will be provided 6, 6 bundles of separate question papers, which will be distributed among the students of each row alternatively. Providing the same type of question papers in each row and column increase the chances of cheating. It is the only decision which is logical as NTS also follow it for ensuring transparency. Social Studies paper will also be taken now, but it will be the part of Islamic studies paper. Only 20 marks has been reserved for Social Studies section.
