Breaking News-Punjab Government is Going To End Parts System For Intermediate & Matriculation Examinations
As per media news Education Ministry government of Punjab has decided to end parts system of examination for inter and matric exams. Composite examination will take the place of parts system in future. Composite examination system will be introduced from 2016. Registration of students for composite exams 2016 will be started in 2015. Next year last exams under parts system will be taken. Syllabus of matriculation and intermediate will also be changed and total marks will be reduced.
Earlier few years before all the boards of intermediate and secondary education used to take composite exams for Matriculation and Intermediate classes and only federal board was taking inter and matric exams in parts but later on all boards of intermediate and secondary education of Punjab also adopted the parts system of examination but again this decision is going to be reversed now. All the students and teachers unions are opposing this decision and they have decided to file a writ petition in High Court if the Punjab government will implement this decision. Students who are not in favor of this decision are arguing that they can not prepare the exams properly in composite system. They demanded that government must take this decision back immediately. What is your opinion? Teachers union will also announce their strategy soon. In our opinion its a controversial decision and government must take all the stake holders in confidence before taking any such decision.
