TEVTA Free Courses For Minorities of Punjab in 2017
Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority has announced to launch TEVTA free courses for minorities of Punjab province. This decision has been taken as per government of Punjab’s policy for betterment of minorities of province., Chairperson TEVTA Irfan Qaisar Sheikh announced this decision while addressing in a meeting at TEVTA secretariat. Chief operating officers Jawad Ahmad Qureshi, General Manager Hamid Ghani Anjum, General Manager (Finance) Abdul Qayyum, General Manager (Academics) Azhar Iqbal Shah and other officials were also present in the meeting. Irfan Qaisar Sh announced that five percent quota has been reserved for minority students in all TEVTA institutes.
Both male and females students belonging to any minority community will be eligible to apply under this quota for free courses. Minority students will be given admission in one year diploma and short courses. Such students can apply for any course offered by TEVTA.
