246 More Constables and Assistant Sub Inspectors Will be Recruited in Railway Police Through NTS
Railway authorities have decided to recruit 246 more ASI and constables in Railway Police. Prime Minister has approved the summary about recruiting more 244 constables and 2 Assistant Sub Inspectors in Railway Police. Now in spite of 310, 556 constables and ASI will be recruited in Railway Police. Candidates who have appeared in NTS test are very happy on the increase in Railway Police posts.
As per media report 750 posts were vacant in the department but department was allowed to recruit only 310 constables and ASIs. Now on the request of Railway authorities seats have been increased. Earlier it was decided to recruit 300 constables and 10 ASIs but now 544 constables and 12 ASIs well be recruited. These posts were advertised in April this year and it was mentioned in ad that posts can be increased.More than 48000 applications were submitted for these posts. NTS was assigned to take the written test to ensure transparency in recruitment process.
