Sweet memories are like the sweet flowers. They become a source of happiness in the depressing drama of life. The_________ is usually very important day of our life. We cannot forget it throughout our life. It remains fresh in our mind all the time. We have the feeling of confidence and hope on this day. March 20,2012, was my last/first day at college/school. The student’s welfare society arranged a party in our honour. All of us gathered in the main hall of the school/college.

Our teachers did not teach us that day. Some students made speeches. President of student’s welfare society threw light on the brilliant history of our alma mater. Then the vice principal addressed the function. He advised us to work hard and to be honest, dutiful and religious in our further life. Then the Principal addressed the gathering. He exhorted us to be truthful and loyal to the country and obedient to the teachers and parents. In the end he gave us our roll numbers and admit cards. He also prayed for our success in our future life. In the last we were served with sweet, sandwiches, fruit chat and cake along with tea. Sandwiches were very spicy and delicious.
All the boys and teachers demanded sandwiches more than any other thing. We were garlanded. We met our teachers and members of student’s welfare society. Then there were songs and speeches of other members of student’s welfare society suited to the occasion. One of us also went on the stage and thanked the Principal and members of student’ welfare society for arranging such a beautiful function in our honour. In the mean time the photographer came.
The teachers and the principal sat in chairs and we stood behind them in three rows. For the first time, we realized that we are quite important for the society because we had to steer the responsibilities of nation. Now it was evening. I returned home. It was the happiest day of my life because my dearest friends and teachers were with me. This day is still fresh in my memory.
