There was need of uplifting their stature in the society. They do not agitate like young doctors. That’s why Punjab government has taken these initiatives.
Four Good News For BSN Students
44 nursing schools in Punjab have been upgraded into nursing colleges and BS nursing degree program has been started in these colleges. Monthly stipend of BSN students has also been increased. It has been decided that now BS nursing students will get monthly stipend of Rs.31470/- instead of 20100 rupees. First time in the history male nursing college has been established in Shahdra Teaching hospital Lahore. First time for admission in nursing programs online admission system has been introduced.
