Breaking News- Punjab Education Department Declares 5th & 8th Class PEC Exams Optional For All Students of Private Schools
Education department Punjab has made 5th and 8th class PEC exams optional for all students of private schools. Students of private schools now will be given admission in public schools without showing board exam result. If any student of private school wants to appear scholarship exam of 5th or 8th grade then all other students will also have to appear in board exam. Again its a strange decision, why an individual student can not appear in scholarship exam?
On the other hand all government students will have to appear in 5th and 8th class PEC board exams. PEC is continuously changing its stand on this issue. But now finally Elite schools have defeated PEC and government schools students are still becoming the victim of PEC. Why board exams have been declared compulsory for government school students.
Punjab Examination Commission failed last year in preparing the result in time. Complaints about paper out are also common that’s why government has make 5th and 8th class board exams optional for students of private schools. Board exams must be started from 9th class.What is your point of view in this regard.
