Allama Iqbal Open University has announced the Autumn admission 2023 schedule for middle tech, Matriculation, Intermediate and short courses. 5th Sep, 2023 is the deadline for applying in these distance learning AIOU courses. Introduction to AIOU, Facilities

Allama Iqbal Open University commonly known as AIOU is a public sector distance learning research university located in capital of Pakistan i.e Islamabad. The university is the world’s fourth largest institution of higher learning by enrollment. AIOU was established in 1974 with a mandate to provide accessible and affordable education to a larger number of people who were unable to attend conventional institutions.

 

The university offers courses at the middle, matriculation, intermediate, bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral levels. It also offers distance learning opportunities for students who are unable to attend regular classes. AIOU has over 1,200 study centers across Pakistan and more than 50 regional offices that provide support to students.

 

The university has a wide range of facilities for its students, including a central library, computer labs, and hostels for both men and women. AIOU is committed to providing quality education and has been ranked among the top universities in Pakistan by various national and international organizations.

 

 

Financial Assistance

AIOU has decided that special financial assistance will be provided to students from specific categories. Jail prisoners, transgenders and students with specific disability will be provided 100% free education. Free education at matric level will be provided to the students from GB and ex-FATA region. Students from these areas should contact their regional offices for more guidance about financial assistance.

 

 

AIOU Online Admission Application Form

Prospectus for matric and inter programs has been uploaded at https://online.aiou.edu.pk. Online form is also available on the same link. In case of submitting the online form there is no need of sending the print of application form to AIOU by post.

 

 

Instructions For Overseas Pakistanis

Overseas Pakistani can now also get online admission in matric and inter classes. Allama Iqbal Open University is offering these courses through university online management system. Through this online system now enrolled students can submit the assignments online and their exams will also be taken through online system. Important Instructions About AIOU Admission 2023

Prospectus and forms are available from aiou main campus, regional offices and sale points. You may get the contact information about sale points from AIOU website and helpline. Students are allowed to deposit the fee in all branches of FWB, UBL, MCB and ABL. Fee will be accepted through bank challan, jazzcash, easypaisa, upaisa mobile apps, *786#USSD string, retailer agents, franchises and mobilink, telenor and U bank branches. Cheques, bank drafts and pay orders will not be accepted in any case.

 

 

Points To Be Remember

Continuing students will have to submit the online form and they are directed to deposit the admission fee within the due date through challan in the designated bank branches as per the procedure given above. Kindly keep the copy of challan form in your safe custody for any future need. AIOU address label has been attached with the fee challan, kidly deattach it first, then put the AIOU copy of challan form, dully filled admission form and other documents in an envelope and paste the address label on it and deposit the registry in nearest post office after getting its receipt. You do not need to pay the fee of registry to post office as AIOU has already paid the fee. 15 Feb, 2023 is the last date for admission 2023 in teacher training programs, BA (Associate Degree) and BS.
