Airport security force is also a law enforcement agency of Pakistan but its jurisdiction is restricted to airports only. This force was established in 1976. ASF is first defence line against hijacking and terrorist activities on airports of Pakistan. Many ASF officer scarified their lives at Karachi airport in 2014 while fighting against terrorists. They fought very bravely against terrorist and failed them in their mission. In fact ASF is a part of Aviation Division Pakistan and it works under the ministry of defence Pakistan. ASF is responsible to safeguard the airports against unlawful interferences, taking anti terrorism measures, curbing crimes and maintaining law and order at the 42 airports of Pakistan. At present total manpower of ASF Pakistan is about 9000.

ASF Jobs 2024 For Females

Women are integral part of air port security force. They are serving in all departments of ASF as air guard, instructor, screener, CCTV operator, intelligence officer and computer operator. Females can apply almost for all ASF jobs.

 

 

ASF Jobs 2024 – Recruitment Process

For the posts of Assistant Director (Grade 17) and Inspector (Grade 16) FPSC holds the written test and interviews of eligible candidates. All FPSC recommended candidates are given appointment letters by ASF.

 

For the posts of ASI (Grade 11), corporal (Grade 07) and all non uniform posts departmental recruitment tests are conducted. For such ASF jobs candidates have to appear in physical, IQ, written tests and interviews. Being a federal government department ASF follows the prescribed quota at the time of recruitment.

 

 

Eligibility Criteria For Important ASF Jobs 2024

Minimum required qualification for the posts of assistant director and inspector is graduation.Age limit for the post of assistant director is 20 to 35 years and for the post of inspector is 20 to 28 years.
Minimum required qualification for the post of ASI is intermediate and for the post of corporal is matriculation. Age limit for both these posts is 18 to 25 years.

 

 

Required Physical Standard For ASF Jobs 2024

Minimum required height for male candidates is 5’-6” and for female candidates is 5’2”.
Minimum weight for male applicants is 106Lbs or 48.1 Kg and for female applicants is 45 Kg.
Minimum chest measurement for male candidates is 32 ¾ ” – 34 ¾ ”. There is no condition for females in this regard. Applicants will have to submit physical fitness certificate of above given prescribed standard issued by a RMP with their applications.

 

 

Important Note About ASF Jobs 2024

1-Candidates for civil ASF jobs will have to clear practical test about their posts.
2-In physical test you will have to complete one mile race in 6.30 minutes for getting 10 marks. Candidates who will cover this distance within 7.30 minutes will be given 5 numbers. Five marks are given for 20 push ups in 2 minutes, and 3 marks are given for 12 push ups in 2 minutes. Five marks are given for 20 sit ups in 2 minutes and 3 marks are given for 12 sit ups in 2 minutes.
