Avicenna Medical College, Lahore M.B.B.S Admission Schedule 2021-22
Avicenna Medical College, Lahore has invited applications for admission in MBBS and for Abdul Waheed trust scholarships,  which will be awarded to two students. Only deserving candidates will extra ordinary academic record can apply for Abdul Waheed trust scholarship.

 

Applications will be received till 0-0-2021. Candidates who have already applied will have to appear in interview on 00-00-2021. Candidates who will apply after now will have to appear in interview on 0-0-2021. Prospectus can be bought from any branch of The Bank of Punjab or from college campus with in the due date.

 

 

Eligibility Criteria
Minimum admission eligibility is as under
1-660 Marks(60%) in F.Sc Pre Medical group or qualification equivalency by IBCC.

2-Should have appeared in the UHS MCAT entry test or should have cleared the respective provincial MCAT entrance test as per PM & DC rules. (Entry Test of one Province is accepted in other Provinces too). Foreign students can apply with GAT II test too.

3-Success in interview

 

Why Avicenna Medical College?
530 bedded Avicenna hospital and 120 bedded Adil hospital are attached as teaching hospitals with college. AMC has one of the most advance Skills Lab which enable the medical students to practice surgical techniques and procedures during the course which helps them a lot in their real time medical practice. Six state of the art lecture theaters have been built in campus. Out of which four have capacity of 150 seats for full class lectures. Two examination hall with 110 seats are also available for smooth conduction of any class tests. Remaining 2 lecture theaters are reserved for conduction of small group tutorials / discussion and they have a capacity of 55 students each. Six tutorial rooms with capacity of 30 students are also present. Each lecture theater has following facilities
1-Two big white boards (one on both sides)

2-Multimedia

3-Over-head projector

4-Flat screen computer with one hour backup (UPS)

5-Stand by generator

6-Internet connection.

7-Air- conditioners

Fully furnished girls and boys hostels have the capacity of 300 and 120 respectively. College offers many kinds of scholarships. Faculty consists of genuine leaders of medical field. Library has the capacity of 260 seats and it is equipped with study carrels, group discussion tables and latest medical reference books related to clinical and basic health sciences. E-library has 60 flat screen PCs with fastest Wi Fi internet.
