We have created this page to inform you about the latest news about educator jobs in Punjab. All the latest breaking news related to 33000 educator jobs in Punjab 2021 will be uploaded on this page. Hopefully you know that Punjab government has assigned NTS to take the entry test for the posts of educators. Bad news is for Commerce graduates that they are not eligible to apply for these posts. We strongly condemn this as large number of Commerce graduates are unemployed in the country and they must be allowed to appear in entry test for the posts of educators.
Yousuf Abbasi education reporter and columnist of Daily Express had written a column on this issue. He gave strong arguments in favor of Commerce graduates. According to him all federal and provincial departments accept equivalent degrees then why school education department is not inviting applications from Commerce graduates, who have equivalent degrees to BA and B.Sc. He demanded that recruitment policy should be revised as B.Com, BBA degree holders are also graduates and quite eligible to teach many subjects in schools. Commerce and technology graduates should also be given equal playing field. No one is demanding for separate quota for Commerce graduates just allow them to appear in entry test as test can show that how much talent they have. You can read his column Umeed Bihar in Urdu on this page about this issue. Affected candidates can contact provincial ombudsman or High Court for relief.
