Breaking News- International Testing Service I.T.S is a Fraud Testing Agency – NAB
As per media news National Accountability Bureau has announced that ITS is a fraud testing agency. Its scholarships scheme 2015 is also a scam. ITS gave an ad in newspapers in April 2015 about National Talent Scholarship Program. More than 480 students applied for National Talent Scholarship Program test. International Testing Service was charging 800 rupees from each candidate in the name of application processing fee.
NAB took a notice of scholarship ad given by I.T.S and asked its administration to give a presentation to NAB about their scholarship program but nobody came in NAB’s office for giving presentation. Then NAB raided on its office but it was closed. Investigation team was informed that office of International Testing Service was closed in April. Now investigation has proved that ITS is not registered with any concern government department and ITS was launched just to collect money from students. NAB has warned students not to make any transaction with this fake testing agency. We tried to contact the ITS authorities but no one was attending the calls on given phone phone numbers.
Private test agency has become the most profitable business in Pakistan. Other than NTS and ITS many private testing agencies are working now in different provinces. We have requested the government several times that a testing service should be launched in public sector. KPK government is successfully running ETEA. Other provinces should follow this model. HEC should take initiative for launching a federal testing service. HEC can get assistance in this regard from ETEA and public service commissions.
