Most Popular Subjects of FA
Urdu, English, Islamic Studies, Pakistan Studies and Islamic Studies/Ethics are compulsory subjects in F.A. Other than these compulsory subjects you will have to chose 3 elective subjects of 200 marks each. Different colleges offer different types of sets of elective subjects. You must try to opt your favorite subjects in FA, If you are interested in any competitive exam like CSS and PMS then you must chose your subjects in taking in view this factor too. For this purpose you will have to chose the subjects at FA level very carefully.
You may appear in FA exam as private candidate too. Distance learning universities like AIOU also offer FA program through distance learning methods. Both these options are best choices for household females and employed persons. AIOU offers wide range of subjects in FA. Standard of English is AIOU FA is also very lower than general FA.

F.A should not be your ultimate educational aim in life. You must try to get at least bachelor level degree in the subjects of your choice. If you can not proceed for BA, BS, B.Com, BA-LLB, BBA or BSc then try to learn short hand and typing as these two skills will open many windows of jobs for you not only in public sector but also in private sector.
