Foreign Ministry Introduces Drop Box Facility For Attestation of Documents
Ministry of foreign affairs (Consular Section) government of Pakistan has introduced drop box facility for attestation of documents at ministry of foreign affairs and its Camp offices in all the four provinces. This decision has been taken to facilitate the general public especially the people living in the rural and remote areas. Now five courier companies have been authorized to receive documents for attestation purpose for Ministry of foreign affairs and all its camp offices located at four headquarter i.e Karachi, Lahore, Peshawar and Quetta. TCS, OCS, UPS, Leopards and Gerry’s have been authorized to receive documents on the behalf of ministry of foreign affairs government of Pakistan. You can not send power of attorney through courier service.
Tariff of Service Charges
Tariff of thee companies will be as follows.
100 rupees for the following cities
Karachi
Lahore
Quetta
Islamabad
Peshawar
Rawalpindi
200 rupees for all other cities. Services charges of courier companies are inclusive of all taxes. Courier companies will charge no additional or hidden charges from the their customers. Above mentioned service charges are for single person and not for single document. Courier company will be solely responsible in case of loss or any other damage to the documents.
Courier company will bear the cost the transportation cost of the person whose document will be damaged or lost.
Ministry of foreign affairs has requested the general public to use the facility of drop box. But it also has been directed to send documents in proper order and after fulfilling the all requirements.
