Free Culinary Arts (Cooking, Bakery & Beverages) Courses
Punjab Skills Development Fund (PSDF) is offering free cooking/culinary arts courses in different cities with the collaboration of School of Culinary Arts City & Guilds UK, UK aid and Centers for Trade and Technician Skills.
Facilities
Following facilities will be provided to students during the training period.
1- All the courses are 100 % free.
2- Monthly stipend will be given to all students.
3-Free books will be provided to students.
4-Free meal and uniform will also be provided to all students.
5-Student will get international certificate on completion of their courses which will help them in finding job.
List of Free Cooking/Culinary Arts Courses
Following free cooking/culinary arts courses are being offered by PSDF
1-Food Preparation and Culinary Arts (International Chef Courses-Level-2) Duration 6 months UK Diploma
2-Food and Beverages Services 6 months UK-Diploma
3- Bakery and pastry Course Duration 6 months TEVTA-Diploma
4-Reception Operation Service 3 months UK Diploma level 2
5-Professional Cook Course- six months TEVTA diploma
Eligibility Criteria
1-Applicants must have passed minimum matriculation exam for TEVTA courses and intermediate for UK diplomas.
2-Candidate’s age must be above 15 years
3-Candidate must have national identity card or form B issued by NADRA.
4-Only the domicile holders of Lahore, Faisalabad, Chiniot, Sargodha, Gujranwala and Narowal are eligible to apply for admission in these free culinary arts courses.
5-Students can apply only for one course.
6-No previous student can take admission in any of the new course offered by PSDF.
7-Admissions will be granted on interview and merit base.
Interview Schedule For Cooking/Culinary Arts Courses
All the candidates are advised to bring their valid Identity card and educational documents at the time of interview. Interviews will be taken from 1 PM to 5 PM at Center for Trade and Technician Skills G-1, 21 Johar Town Lahore. Interviews will be taken till 20th November, 2014 on daily basis. Office will remain open on Sunday.
