Latest News About Distribution of Free Laptops Under Prime Minister’s Scheme 2021 in University of The Punjab, Lahore
As per media reports 6500 laptops will be distributed under Prime Minister’s free laptop distribution scheme 2021 among the PhD and M.Phil students of Punjab university. These laptops have been handed over to Punjab University administration. It is expected that free laptops will be distributed in the month of October. Exact date of distribution has not been announced. Those students who have got jobs after completing their degrees will not be given laptops. Earlier their names were included in the list but now the list has been revised and names of all such students have been removed.
After a long delay the distribution of free laptops has been started again. Last week 279 laptops were distributed in Home Economics college Gulberg, Lahore. We hope now government will not delay this process any more as depression and frustration is increasing among students due to this undue delay. Last date for validating the data of eligible students on HEC site was ……………. September for PhD, MS and M.Phil students that’s why distribution has been started among these students.
Master and BS students can validate their data till …………., 2021 on HEC site, Those students who will not validate their data on HEC site within the due date, will be considered ineligible.
