Pakistan Railways has launched a new air conditioned train i.e green line train. Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has inaugurated green line train. Green line train will be a totally air-conditioned train with the state of art facilities. Basically its a business class train, which has been launched to attract the passengers from the upper and upper middle class. All the passengers will be provided free insurance of 1 million rupee. Greenline train will complete its journey in just 23 hours and 15 minutes.
Facilities
Free Wifi facility will be provided to all passengers in greenline train on the whole route. Special passengers lounges have been constructed for the green line train at Islamabad, Lahore and Karachi railway stations to give vip treatment to the passengers.
Complementary lunch, breakfast and dinner will be served to passengers. Free mineral water, newspapers and tea will also be distributed among passengers. Standard bedding and free pack of necessary items required during travel, will also be provided. Pakistan railway is receiving great response from the passengers for taking this initiative.

Green line train will departure from Islamabad at 3.15 PM and arrive at Karachi Cantt station at 2.30 PM. Pakistan railway is also considering to insure all its passengers.
