Breaking News-HEC is Going To Abolish BA, B.Sc, MA & M.Sc Degree Programs in Pakistan
We have a breaking news for those student who want to get admission in BA or BSc degree program in session 2019-20. Higher education commission of Pakistan is trying to change the whole infrastructure of higher education in Pakistan. These changes are revolutionary in their nature, which will affect a whole generation of students. We think that all these changes are cosmetic in their nature and there was not need of disturbing the whole academic system in Pakistan.
Now 2 years BA and BSc degrees will not be available in Pakistan. Associate degree in arts and associate degree in science will replace the degrees of BA and BSc. As per media news soon official notification will be issued in this regard. Higher education Commission HEC will not accept the BA and BSc registration or enrollment after 31st December, 2018. It means now no fresh candidate will be able to enroll for BA, BSc after HSSC result 2019. 2 years associate degree syllabus has been designed as per the market needs.
MA and MSc degrees will also be abolished from 2020. From 2020 no university will offer MA, MSc program in Pakistan. BS degree will be equivalent to MA, MSc and its first 2 years will be equivalent to BA, BSc. It means that after studying 2 years of four years BS program, you will be issued associate degree in science or arts. On completion of 4 years you may get BS degree.
