Study Abroad – Higher Education Commission HEC Indigenous PhD Scholarships 2024 (Faculty Development Program)

Higher education commission of Pakistan has now introduced faculty development program for all of the Pakistani universities. It is a indigenous PhD scholarship. Details of this PhD scholarship is written below. If you belong to the public sector university as a faculty member then you can apply in this PhD scholarship program. This scholarship program will have the duration of 4 years and you will be spending 6 to 13 months of time frame in abroad.

 

 

Eligibility Criteria for HEC Indigenous PhD Scholarships
You should have nationality of either calling yourself as a Pakistani or you can have the nationality to call yourself as one of the AJK nationality holders.
You should have 18 years of education. Your education should be up to level and standard of MS/MPHIL. You can have an equivalent education too.
Candidates should be holding and carrying the full time and regular teaching post in some public sector university. If you are hired in some public sector university on contract basis then you can apply as well for this indigenous PhD scholarship program.

 

You should have two years of teaching experience.
You need to have 3rd division or you can have 3.0 CGPA in your previous and past educational degrees.
Maximum age limit is 45 years.
If you are already enrolled and admitted in some PhD degree program or if you are availing some other kind of PhD scholarship program then you cannot apply in this subjected scholarship program.
If you are one of the visiting faculty then you cannot qualify for this indigenous PhD scholarship program for year of 2024.

 

 

How to Apply in HEC Indigenous PhD Scholarships 2024?
You should be completing with your online application form submission process. Just visit this site and complete the first stage of this scholarship program, www.hec.gov.pk. No hard copy of your application form is required by HEC right at this first stage of application form processing.
You will be uploading yours original online deposit slip admission processing fees as well which is of Rs. 500. This fees is non-refundable.

 

 

Other Important Information Regarding HEC Indigenous PhD Scholarships
It will be on your academic marks, your HEC aptitude test marks and your interview scoring that your selection will be carried on..
Last date to apply is 0rd November, 2023.
You should be keeping the copy of your original fee deposit slip. This fee slip will be required by HEC in the future stages of application form processing.
HEC has this right to select and reject any of the candidate based on the selection criteria as defined and mentioned by the Higher education commission of Pakistan.
