Breaking News-HEC & FIA Are Going To Launch Crackdown Against Unrecognized Universities & Sub Campuses
Finally Higher Education Commission has decided to start a crackdown against illegal and unrecognized universities and unauthorized sub campuses of recognized universities. HEC will provide list of unrecognized institutes to FIA which will seal all such institutes and sub campuses. As per HEC 185 unrecognized universities are working in all over Pakistan. List of these unauthorized institutes has been given below.

Most of the unauthorized sub campuses are situated in Karachi, Lahore, Rawalpindi, Peshawar, Gujrat, Jhang, Gujranwala, Multan, Muzaffargarh and DG Khan while majority of fake degree awarding institutes are situated in Karachi and other cities of Sindh. Only 160 public and private universities and degree awarding institutes are recognized by HEC. List of HEC recognized universities has been given below.

HEC also do not recognize many sub campuses of recognized public and private universities. The list of HEC recognized sub campuses has also been given below all other campuses are unauthorized.

Higher Education Commission is already too much late so we hope that this operation will be started soon and all illegal campuses and institutes will be banned. These unauthorized institutes have the back of influential politicians so there is a need of transparent operation as future of thousands of students depends upon it. It is our humble suggestion that at least the students of unauthorized sub campuses of Public universities should be given some relief as students took admission in these campuses due to goodwill of public degree awarding institutions and a normal student even can not think that sub campuses of public universities are openly doing fraud with them.
