Higher Education Commission Law Graduate Assessment Test (HEC Law-GAT) 2023 For Enrollment as an Advocate with Bar Council
If you have clear the LLB exam then you will have to clear Law GAT (Law Graduate Assessment Test) for becoming eligible to enroll yourself as advocate with bar council. This test is conducted by HEC Pakistan. Higher Education Commission of Pakistan has announced the schedule of registration for HEC Law GAT test 2023. Registration facility is available online. Last date for online registration is 0th June, 2023.
This HEC Law GAT test will be of MCQs type. Only those candidates are eligible to appear in Higher Education Commission Law Graduate Assessment Test who have already cleared the Bachelor of Law degree or equivalent from a PBC/HEC recognized university or law school. Test centers will be in the cities of Islamabad, Karachi, Quetta, Lahore, Sukkur, Turbat, Multan, Hyderabad, Muzzaffarabad, Bahawalpur, Peshawar, Gilgit, Faisalabad and Abbottabad. You may select the test center of your choice while filling the application form. HEC Law GAT test will not be conducted in the center where candidates will be less than 100. Candidates are not given the permission to change the test center once selected.
For online registration of HEC Law GAT test you will have to visit http://etchec.gov.pk. This time test registration fee will be Rs.3000/- You may submit this fee in the account number given in the newspaper advertisement. Candidates are directed to clearly mention their CNIC # at the back side of the bank deposit slip.
Passing marks are 50% in the HEC Law GAT test 2023. Candidates will have to given total three chances for clearing this professional test. HEC Law GAT test is conducted quarterly in every year.
