HEC Overseas Scholarships 2022
Higher Education Commission has invited applications for HEC overseas scholarships for fall 2022/Spring 2022. Talented students of all provinces of Pakistan including AJK can now apply online for award of scholarships in the selected fields for Master programs leading to PhD and direct PhD degree programs. Selected students will be sent in any of the following country; Germany, United Kingdom, New Zealand, Austria, Turkey, France, China Australia and any other country/university subsequently identified by HEC . You can apply online through the link given below, but it is also mandatory to send dully filled hard copy of online application form along with all above mentioned required documents till 30 May, 2021. Applications will be received online.
Eligibility Criteria for HEC Scholarships 2022
1-Only Pakistan nationals or domicile holders of AJK are eligible for these HEC scholarships 2022.
2-Applicants must have completed at least 18 years of education from any HEC recognized university.
3-Candidates should have not got more than 2 second divisions in his/her academic career.
4-Applicant must not be over 35 years on deadline date.
5 years age relaxation(up to 40 years) will be granted to regular faculty members of government higher education institutions and employees of the public sector R&D organizations.
5-HEC aptitude/scholarship test is mandatory for all candidates, with 50 or above marks.
6-The applicants must have acquired the required qualification before the mentioned date in ad.
7-Students who are availing any other scholarship are not eligible to apply for HEC overseas scholarships 2022.
Procedure For HEC Scholarships 2022
Candidates are directed to submit following documents along with the hard copy of online application form;
1-Attested photocopies of all educational documents.
2-Attested copy of domicile.
3-Attested copy of National identity card.
4-Curriculum Vitae.
6-Research proposal related to indigenous issues.
7-Equivalence of foreign qualifications from IBCC or HEC
8-Original online fee deposit slip of Rs.300/- in favor of DG Finance, HEC, H-9, Islamabad on account number 0112-00500119-01, HBL Aabpara branch Islamabad as non refundable processing fee.
9-Statement of purpose(Maximum allowed length is one page only)
Important Points About HEC Overseas Scholarships 2022
1-Don’t apply again if you have already applied for HEC scholarships 2022.
2-These HEC scholarships 2022 are not for engineering, Agriculture and Chemistry students.
3-Government servants can only apply through their departments.
4-You will have to submit the research proposal based on local problems only.
5-Candidates will have to fulfill the requirements of host university, such as GRE and TOEFL., so you are advised to appear in these tests before the admission and interview.
6-You will have to indicate your preferred countries and universities, but HEC is not bound to follow your choice.
7-Only short listed candidates will be called for final interview. Team of relevant country/university will interview the short listed candidates.
8-All the successful candidate will have to submit an affidavit (bond) about serving the country for 5 years after the completion of their program.

10-These HEC overseas scholarships will be awarded on the basis of provincial quota and discipline wise quota.
11-Scholarships will be awarded only in HEC selected partner universities of above mentioned countries. Country-wise list of HEC identified partner universities has been given on official website of Higher Education Commission.
12-List of selected fields is also available on the above mentioned website.
13-You are only allowed to apply only in your relevant field as per your last academic qualification.
14-All eligible candidates need to create common profile through online application system and then can apply for HEC overseas scholarships after following the prescribed procedure.
