HEC Scholarships 2022 For English Faculty of Government Sector Universities/Colleges
Higher Education Commission has invited applications for indigenous scholarships under English Language Teaching Reforms(ELTR) project phase 2 for in-service English teachers of government sector higher education institutes of Pakistan for following programs:
1-MPhil/MS in Applied Linguistics and related disciplines (up to 2 years)
2-Master in Applied Linguistics, TEFL, TESL, ELT(up to 2 years)
3-PGD, ADP in TEFL, TESL, ELT (up to 1 year)
Indigenous scholarships under English Language Teaching Reforms(ELTR) project phase 2 will be offered for academic session starting from fall 2022.
Eligibility Criteria For HEC Scholarships For English Faculty of Public Universities/Colleges
Citizens of Pakistan and Azad Jammu & Kashmir
Only full time permanent English faculty members of government sector universities and colleges(Lecturer and above) are eligible to apply.
Applicants age must be below 50 years.
Applicant must have completed 16 year of education.
Applicants who have already got any award from HEC can not apply.
Applicants already enrolled fulfilling the eligibility criteria and studying in specified program are also eligible to apply for HEC indigenous scholarships under English Language Teaching Reforms(ELTR) project phase 2. Such candidates will be provided funding for their remaining course.
Document Required
Interested candidates are directed to send application form to ELTR Phase 2, HEC along with following required documents:
Attested copies of all educational documents
Attested copy of National Identity Card
Admission letter from university or DAIs
Two recent passport size colored photographs
Original online fee deposit slip/ATM transfer slip of Rs.400
Undertaking on judicial stamp paper pf 100 rupees attested by notary public
College faculty member will submit NOC from Directorate of colleges
University faculty member will submit NOC issued by registrar/VC.
Application Procedure
The candidate must get admission in the HEC recognized government sector or private sector universities/Degree Awarding Institutes offering the above mentioned programs.
The candidates who will secure admission (Fall semester 2022) after the closing date may send their admission letter on intimation from ELTR, HEC in case they are short listed.
All the candidates will have to deposit 400 rupees non refun8able processing fee in favor of DG Finance, HEC through any bank in A/C# 17427900133401 HBL, Shalimar Recording Company branch, H-9, Islamabad. Send the original fee deposit slip along with the application form.
Write your valid email address in your application form as HEC will communicate with you through your email ID.
Only short listed applicants will be contacted.
HEC have the right to cancel the award at any time.
Incomplete and late applications will be rejected.

Grant Details
Scholarship includes tuition fee of 100000 and monthly stipend of 2000 rupees as per semester schedule, the research or thesis fee will not be provided.

Last date for submission of applications is 00, September, 2022 by 3 PM.
