These HEC abroad scholarships 2014-15 will be awarded for the academic session starting from February/March 2015.

Eligibility Criteria For HEC Scholarships
1-Nationals of Pakistan and Azad Jammu and Kashmir
2-Applicants must have completed eighteen years of education.
3-Candidates having more than two second divisions in his/her academic career are not eligible to apply.
Maximum age on Monday 15-12-14
a-Forty years for full-time regular faculty members of government sector universities/colleges and employees of government sector R&D organizations.
b-Thirty five years for all other candidates.
5-Candidates must have at least fifty percent academic marks as per Higher Education Commission Academic Evaluation Formula. You can view the Higher Education Commission Academic Evaluation Formula. on official website of HEC.
6-Candidates must have got admission into a PhD program in University of South Wales (UNSW), Australia  for February/March 2015 session.
7-Students have got any other scholarship can not apply.

How to Apply For HEC Scholarships
Interested candidates are directed to apply submit following documents along with prescribed application form with in the due date.
1-Attested photocopy of confirmed admission letter for PhD program at University of South Wales (UNSW), Australia.
2-Attested photocopies of all educational documents by gazetted government officer.
3-Attested photocopy of national identity card.
4-CV/Resume
5-Attested copy of domicile certificate
6-Statement of purpose for pursuing higher education maximum in 500 words.
7-Research proposal
8-Original online fee deposit slip of two hundred rupees in favor of Director General Finance, Higher Education Commission, H-9, Islamabad on account number 0112-00500119-01, HBL Aabpara Branch Islamabad as processing fee. This fee in non refundable and non transferable.

Important Information About HEC Scholarships For University of New South Wales Australia 2014-15
1- Scholarships are tenable in all fields of study except Engineering, Agriculture and Chemistry.
2-Applicants who will get admission Criminology or any other related subject will be preferred.
3-Candidates who will get direct admission into PhD program will be considered only.
4-Funding will be provided maximum for four years for PhD program.
5-Selected candidates will have to execute a bond with Higher Education Commission to serve in the country for 5 years after PhD, preferably in an higher education institute.
6-Incomplete applications and those received after the closing date will be rejected.
7- Government servants are directed to apply through their department.
