Higher Education Commission of Pakistan UG Scholarship Program for Students of GB in The Year 2023
Higher Education Commission has just newly announced the opening of latest scholarship program 2023 for the students of Gilgit Baltistan. This is no doubt a great opportunity for the students who are excellent in their studies and wants to study in their dream university within Pakistan. Those students can apply for the scholarship who is studying in the undergraduate programs and in 4 or 5 years of degree awarding program.
HEC Undergraduate Scholarship Program 2023 will be given away for the educational years 2023-2024 in various districts of Gilgit Baltistan. Application forms for this scholarship will just be accepted till 0th October 2023. You can apply it through HEC portal and have to submit the form online. Hard copy submission won’t be accepted. Application payment is yet submitted into the HEC fund.
What is Covered in HEC Undergraduate Scholarship Program 2023?
This HEC Undergraduate Scholarship Program will cover different expenditures which will be offered with the additional charges of maximum Rs. 240,000 per year. Plus an allowance of the Rs.15, 000 per month Books is also offered to all the applicants. Traveling expense is also covered with the cost of Rs 30,000 per annum.
Eligibility Requirements
It is important for the applicant that they should be having a student certificate and the domicile of the Gilgit Baltistan. Plus, they should be having a certificate of Secondary School Certificate and Higher Secondary School. They should have done most of their studies from Gilgit.
If any student is applying for any other scholarship already, they are not eligible to apply for this scholarship program. Students are free to apply for any of the public institution in Pakistan. But any expenses which has exceeded the above mentioned expenditure details will be handled by the student themselves.
Age limit of the applicant should be 22 years old. It is important for the applicant to meet all the requirements and address the HEC standards to be the part of HEC Undergraduate Scholarship Program 2023. Students have to appear in the entry test on the basis of which final selection will be made. Passing score in the entry test has to be 50%. Students can enroll in any of the BS program.
How to Apply for HEC UG Scholarships for GB Students?
Application forms should be submitted online by visiting https://eportal.hec.gov.pk. Rs 500 is the application fee which is non-refundable. Fee should be paid in the “Account No.17427900133401, Habib Bank Limited, SRC H-9 Branch, Islamabad”. Upload the receipt scanned copy along with the application form.
