Higher Education Commission of Pakistan Announces The Details About UG HEC Scholarships 2024 for Students from Balochistan & Erstwhile FATA Regions
Higher Education Commission has announced undergraduate scholarships 2024 for students of erstwhile FATA and Balochistan. These HEC scholarships 2024 will be available in all universities and degree awarding institutes of pubic and private sectors of Pakistan. These UG HEC scholarships 2024 are being offered for students of ex fata and Balochistan regions in all areas of studies/disciplines.
Eligibility Details
All the applicants should possess local/domicile certificate of Balochistan or Erstwhile FATA . Students should have have clear HSSC exam with at least 60% marks. Maximum age is 22 years as on the closing date. Candidates should have got the acquired academic on or before the closing date. If you are already availing any other public sector or Higher Education Commission scholarship then you are not eligible for these UG HEC scholarships 2024. Result awaiting students can not avail this opportunity.
Details of Benefits Included in HEC Scholarships 2024
1-In the very beginning you will be given Rs.10000/- as initial settlement allowance.
2-Every month you will get 6000 rupees as living allowance and increment of rupees will be given after one year.
3-For buying syllabus books you will be given allowance of 5000 rupees annually.
4-For travelling purpose selected candidates will be given 5000 rupees in each year.
5-60000 rupees will be given semester/year wise as tuition fee and hostel dues.
Points To Be Remember
These HEC scholarships 2024 will be given on merit and district quota basis. Soon after he closing date HEC will invite the applicants for appearing in aptitude test. Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of aptitude test score and academic record. You will have to secure minimum 50% numbers in aptitude test. The HEC scholarship and reserved seats distribution ration for Balochistan and FATA is fifty, fifty. Placement in reserved quota seats will be on open merit for selected scholars only. Minimum eligibility criteria of Pakistan Medical and Dental Council PMDC will be applicable. If you have already enrolled in medical colleges and engineering colleges will not be considered against the reserved seats but will be considered for offer of HEC scholarships if they comply with the eligibility criteria. Higher Education Commission of Pakistan will welcome the candidates who have already enrolled in any Bachelor program.

Monday 20th Nov, 2023 is the last date to apply for UG HEC scholarships 2024 for students of Balochistan and Erstwhile FATA. Test for UG scholarships will be taken on 3rd December, 2023. Online application forms are available at http://hec.gov.pk/site/phobf. Form in hard form will not be acceptable. 500 rupees is the application processing fee.
