Government of Pakistan and specially govt of Punjab are taking special steps to facilitate the disable persons in the society. Wheels chairs are being distributed among special persons under PM scheme. Social welfare department has set up medical boards at tehsil and district levels for issuing disability certificates to special persons. Nadra is also issuing special CNIC and Form B to disable persons on priority basis. These Nadra identity cards are being issued to only those disable persons who have already made their disability certificates from the concerned authorities.

 

 

How to Make Disability Certificate in Punjab?
First of all visit district social welfare office. Get the form from office. There is no fee of this certificate. Submit the dully filled form along with your CNIC/Form B, CNIC of parent and 2 recent photographs. Then you will be called by medical board. After checkup by this board you will be issued disability certificate. This certificate will help you in applying for jobs on disability quota.

 

 

Documents Needed for the Making of Disability Certificate:
Five passport size photographs
Five photocopies of form-B issued by Nadra
Educational certificates (If Available)
Two photocopies of Utility Bills for Verification of your address

 

Benefits of CNIC for Special Persons
Identity card for special persons is called SCNIC. It will help you in finding job on disability quota. You will be able to get free treatment from all hospitals. You may travel free of cost in metro bus. 50% concession is given to disable persons on train and air travel. Wards of disable persons can get free education. Disable persons are exempt from income tax and tax on buying land. On the basis of SCNIC you may also be included in assistive devices programs.

 

 

How to Get Special CNIC?
No fee will be charged by Nadra for issuing SCNIC. For processing of SCNIC you must have already got disability certificate. After getting this certificate visit your nearest Nadra office with following documents;

Original as well as photocopies of Father’s & Mother’s identity cards
NADRA Form-B (Both original and photocopies)
