Step By Step Guidance About Registering A Complaint in National Accountability Bureau NAB
National Accountability Bureau is a federal investigating and anti corruption agency. It was established with the aim of across the board accountability.Corruption, misuse of power, assets beyond the known sources of income are the major crimes which can be prosecuted under the purview of National Accountability Bureau . NAB has issued some guidelines for those who want to register a complaint in National Accountability Bureau (NAB). Complainants are directed to follow the below mentioned instructions otherwise their complaints will not be entertained.
a-Only those complaints about corruption will be entertained which lie under the section 9-A of the National Accountability Ordinance 1999. So before filling a complaint read the section 9-A of the National Accountability Ordinance 1999 carefully.
b-Write the details in your applications and attach relevant proofs with them.
c-Do not forget to write your computerized national identity card number and telephone number.
d-Attach affidavit with following details
1- That matter in my complaint is based on reality, true and correct to the best of may knowledge, information and belief.
2-That the matter (Proof) attached with my application is originals, correct and compliment my complaint.
3-That i Know and accept that if NAB will find after inquiry/investigation that my complaint was wrong and was submitted to defame or harm any body, matter will be referred to court of law under the sections of NAO-1999 and if i will be found guilty, court can give me punishment of imprisonment or fine or both punishments.
4-That the matter is not sub judice or under investigation in court or investigating agency of Pakistan.
5-Write your name at the end and sign the application.
d-Do not forget to attest your affidavit from notary public otherwise, it will not be accepted.
e-No application will be considered without the complete contact details of applicant including CNIC.
