General Headquarters GHQ Rawalpindi Announces Law Graduates Internship Program for Young Lawyers
General Headquarters Rawalpindi has invited applications from law graduates for its internship program 2022-23. Female lawyers may also apply for these internships. Interested lawyers are directed to apply before 0th Nov, 2022. Your CV must not be more than 3 pages long. Eligibility Criteria for GHQ Law Graduates Internship Program 2022-23
LLB and LLM candidates can apply for this internship scheme. Age of lawyers should be less than 34 years. Candidates having law degree from a foreign university or law school will be given preference. Candidate must be a member of any local bar and he must has at least 2 years experience. Applicants should have experience in the fields of international law, criminal law, civil law, constitutional law, corporate law, tax law and special laws. Selected advocates will be offered monthly stipend as per their qualification. 2.5 CGA out of 4 is required, or 60% marks are needed except in LLB as in LLB 2nd division is acceptable. Your all degrees like LLB, LLM and PhD should be from HEC approved universities. Domicile of any area of Pakistan is also required.
Candidates who have private qualification can not apply. Convicted from court in a moral crime is also ineligible. Dismissed from armed forces and armed forces training institutes on the basis of discipline breach are also not eligible.
After shortlisting eligible candidates will be called for interview. Final selection will depends upon your collective performance. GHQ will take this decision. Internship place will be Rawalpindi Pakistan. No facility of TA/DA residence and food will be given during internship period. Selected candidates will have to assist in civil cases. They will also have to deal with legal matters related to armed forces of Pakistan. You may also ask for law research and legal references finding task.
Required Documents
Candidates will have to bring HEC attested certificates with them at the time of interview. 6 attested color photographs, CNIC, domicile, NOC (Only from public sector employees) and original certificates, degrees with 2 sets of their attested copies are also needed.
