PHA has decided to celebrate Jashan E Baharan Lahore 2023. This year Jashan E Baharan mela 2023 will be organized from 5th to 12th March, 2023. Jashan E Baharan is the traditional spring festival of Punjab but in Lahore it is celebrated very warmly. Basant (Kites flying festival) was its part but now government has imposed ban on it due to some fatal accidents during past few years. On the special instructions of CM Punjab it has been decided that this year Jashan E Baharan fevstival 2023 will be celebrated simultaneously in many other cities of Punjab.

In Lahore different events of this spring festival will be organized in Greater Iqbal Park, Race Course Park, National History Museum, Hockey Stadium, Fortress Stadium, Qilla Lahore & Open Air Theater Bagh e Jinnah Lahore.
It has also been decided that marathon race will be permanent event of Jashan e Baharan festival from this year. Famous main roads of Lahore will be illuminated with colorful lights. Lahore canal will be decorated with beautiful models & lights in night. Students of NCA and PU Lahore fine arts department will make the models on boats which will be floated in Lahore canal and mall road.
Key Events of Jashan E Baharan or Spring Festival Lahore 2023
Garden and flower competition will be organized in Bagh e Jinnah and Jillani park Lahore. Horse & cattle show will also be the part of this spring festival. Lucky Irani circus will also come in Lahore with its full team. Sufi night will be organized to enjoy the sufi songs. Mehfile Sama will be conducted for one week at Data Darbar. Families will also be able to enjoy the live musical shows, as it will be a family festival in nature. Laser light performance and fire works will be the events of night.
Comedy show, dramas, puppet shows and art & craft festival will be conducted to amuse the art lovers. Hot air balloon ride facility will also be available at Race Course park. Security arrangements will be up to the mark in all venues. Mushaira will be organized for poetry lovers. Birds show, car show, cut flower show and dog show will be among important shows of this Jashan e Baharan. Lot of new swings and rides will be there in the kids playing areas. Traditional mehfil e Qisa Goi will also be a key event. Calligraphy exhibition and mural painting competition will be conducted. Lahoris will also enjoy the events of mascot parade, cyclothon and band parade.

You will be able to enjoy local food items like BBQ, Katlabma, Tikkay, Grilled Fish, Malai Boti, Lahori Palao, Pathuray, Biryani, Sajji, Dal Chawal, Chargha, Handi, Saag, Mkai ki Roti, Lassi, Desi Methai, Pan, Namak Paray, Jalebi, kulfi, Dahi Bhallay, Allu Chanay, Samosa, Fruit Chat, Pakora, Finger Fish, Chips, Potato Roll and Ladu Pithi Walay in the food festival at Jilani park.
