Join Pak Army As Captain Through Direct Short Service Commission May 2024
Pakistan Army is offering great opportunity to job seekers. Now you can join Pak Army as captain through short service commission. Pak Army will start registration for the post of captain in following categories from 0th Dec, 2023.

1-Army Education Officer
2-Psychologist
3-Law Officer
4-Remount Veterinary and Farms Officer (RV&FC)

 

Training duration will be six months only. Eligibility criteria for each category has been given on https://www.joinpakarmy.gov.pk. Registration will continue from 00 Dec to 0st December, 2023.

 

 

Common Features
Minimum required CGPA is 2.5 out of 4. In annual system candidates must have got at least 62.5% marks.
M.Phil/MS degree holders will be given preference.
Candidates with a 3rd division in any degree are ineligible. Applicants with more than one 2nd division in their whole academic career are also ineligible.
Candidates must have graduated from a HEC recognized universities (Foreign or local).
Applicants who have acquired their Master degree as private candidate can not apply to join Pak Army as captain, except those candidates who will apply for Islamic Studies and they have got their Bachelor degree as a regular student.
Applicants who will apply in AEC for disciplines of Islamic Studies, Urdu, Pakistan Studies or Psychology only require 2 CGPA out of 4 or 50% marks in annual system.
Male eligible married/unmarried citizen of Pakistan can apply.
Applicant’s height must be at least 5 feet 4 inches (162.5 cm) and weight must be as per body mass index.

You can get yourselves registered through Internet or by visiting your nearest Army Selection and Recruitment Center (AS&RCs). Contact numbers of AS&RCs have been given below.

You will be informed about your test date and time via email, so each candidate must have a email id. Candidates will have to bring all their original documents(list has been given in ad) and computerized roll number slip at the time of preliminary test. Date given in computerized roll number slip will not be changed. You must have necessary knowledge of computer as like your registration the tests will also be conducted on computer.

 

Registration At Army Selection and Recruitment Center
If you do not have the facility of Internet then report in your nearest AS&RC for off-line registration and allotment of roll number slip. Bring your original documents and prospectus fee at AS&RC. Candidates will have to bring their original documents on the test day too.

 

 

Further Recruitment Process
1-Dates for preliminary tests will be given on above mentioned link.
2-Preliminary medical tests will also be taken at AS&RCs. Applicants will have to qualify following physical tests too.
1.6 km Run – 9 Minutes.
Push Ups – 10 Repetitions in 2 Minutes
Sit Ups – 10 Repetitions in 2 Minutes
Chin Ups – 2 Repetitions in 2 Minute
3-Short listed candidates will be called for ISSB test.
4-Detailed medical examination at of ISSB recommended candidates at CHM.
5-Interview at GHQ
6-Final Selection at GHQ
7-Six Months training
8-Selected candidates will have to sign a bond of 7 years.
