Now you can join Pak Army Through 36th Technical Cadet Course (Entry Feb 2024). Registration process for regular commission in Pakistan Army has been started. All the details and newspaper ad cutting are available on this page.
Eligibility Criteria To Join Pak Army
1-Candidate’s age should be between 17 to 21 years on the cut off date. Three months relaxation can be granted both in upper and lower age limit.
2-Only male unmarried citizens of Pakistan are eligible. Dual nationals will have to surrender their foreign nationality in case of their selection.
3-Minimum required height is 5′-4′ (162.5 cm)
4-Weight of the candidate must be as per BMI.
5-Education- FSc (Pre Engineering) – Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry/Computer Studies/Computer Sciences with at least sixty five percent marks or A level. For details see the newspaper ad below.
Registration Process
There are two methods of registration i.e Online registration and Registration at AS&RCs . Procedure of both methods has been given below.
Online Registration
If you have Internet facility then you can get yourself register on recruitment website of Pak Army i.e www.joinpakarmy.gov.pk. Such candidates will be informed about their test date and time through Internet. That’s why you must have an valid email account. It will be mandatory for online registered candidates to report for preliminary test on the date and time given on computerized roll number slip. Kindly bring required documents as per list given on this page along with prospectus fee on test day. Applicants are directed to get working knowledge of computer as their registration and test is computer based.
Registration at AS&RCs
In this method a candidate will have to report at his nearest AS&RCs for completing the registration process and getting roll number slip. Prospectus fee will be charged at the time of registration. Applicants will have to bring required documents both at the time of registration and preliminary test.

1-Registration process will continue from 12th Feb to 17th March, 2024 (Including Saturday/Sunday)
2-Preliminary tests will be conducted later on.

Preliminary Selection
Intelligence/Academic Tests
All the candidates will have to appear in intelligence test but only successful candidates in intelligence test will appear in academic test. Academic exam will contains the MCQs about English, Physics, Mathematics, Computer Studies and Computer Sciences n(Only for CS students). Successful candidates in academic exam will undergo physical tests at Army Selection and Recruitment Centers.
Physical Test
In this stage candidates will have to qualify following physical tests.
1.6 Km Run – Eight Minutes.
Push Ups – 15 Repetitions in 2 Minutes
Sit Ups – 20 Repetitions in 2 Minutes
Chin Ups – 3 Repetitions in 2 Minutes
Ditch Crossing – 7’4′ x 7’4′ with a Depth of 4′
Initial medical examination will be taken at AS&RCs.
Further Selection Process
Short listed candidates will receive call up letters for ISSB test. Their names will also be uploaded on net. ISSB recommended candidates will be sent to their nearby CMH for medical examination. GHQ will prepare the final list of selected candidates on the basis of your overall performance. Disciplines will be allocated on merit and choice basis. Decision of GHQ will be final in this regard.
Points To Remember About Join Pak Army Through 36th Technical Cadet Course
1-Candidates will not be allowed to change the priority list.
2-Duration of degree program will be 4 years.
3-After completion of Bachelor of Engineering degree candidates will get one year military training at PMA Kakul.
4-Lists of required documents, academic disciplines and telephone numbers of AS&RCs have been given below.
5-Cadets will have to execute a bond with Pakistan Army to serve the army for minimum 13 years.
