Appna Institute of Public Health is a part of JSMU Karachi. Now this institute if offering admission 2023 in Bachelor of Science in Public Health course. Applications for BSPH progra will be received by the 0th Jan, 2024. Entry test date for the said program will be announced soon. Interviews will also be taken after test.

 

 

Eligibility Criteria
Inter is the basic requirement in any stream with 2nd division for admission in BSPH. Age limit is from 18 to 35 years. Domicile of Sindh is also needed.

 

 

Seats & Format of Entry Test
There will be total 50 seats in BSPH class. 45 seats are available in JSMU on merit base and 5 seats will be given on self finance basis. Entry test syllabus is the inter syllabus of BISE boards of Sindh. Entrance exam will consist of one question paper of MCQs type. 100 MCQS will be about Biology, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and English. There will be 40 MCQs on Biology and 20, 20 multiple choice questions about Physics and Chemistry. 10, 10 MCQs will be on the subjects of English and Math. Total marks of this test will be 100, it means that on each right answer you will be get 1 number. No negative marks will be given on wrong answers. Duration of this exam will be one hour. Your marks in intermediate will be given 40% weightage and 60% weightage will be of your marks in admission 2023 test.

 

 

Application Procedure
Log on to the admission 2023 portal at www.jsmu.edu.pk for filling the online form. After that get its print and print of fee voucher of 2500 rupees. Deposit the prescribed fee in your nearest branch of HBL. In the last you will have to send the print of filled online form, fee voucher and required documents to office of admissions, 3rd floor, Jinnah Sindh Medical Universit, Reaifqui (HJ) Shaheed road Karachi. No hostel facility will be given to students of BSPH.

 

 

At the time of entrance test print out of admit card, CNIC or any other Nadra issued card will be required like NICOP, POC, Form B, smart card for Juveniles or passport. Bring clipboard and 2 ball points too. Your cell number and email must be functional for receiving updates from JSMU.
