King Edward Medical College has announced with their MBBS admission process for year 2024. All the applicants who want to take admission they can get their complete admission kit from the admission office in the month of September during working time hours as from 9am to 2 pm. As soon as the University of Health Sciences will come up with the announcement of their entry test result, this medical college will start off with its admission process. Those students can apply who have score with minimum 84% marks under the formula of Pakistan Medical and Dental Council PMDC. Final selection of the students list will be made on their aggregate marks.

 

 

Eligibility Criteria Given by King Edward Medical University

Those applicants can apply who have hence clear their intermediate studies in F. Sc pre-medical subjects along with minimum 60% marks.

Plus applicants can apply only on the condition if they have appeared in the entry test which was arranged PMC for session of 2024-2025.

 

Students who are applying on seats of Hafiz-e-Quran, they will be granted with 10 extra marks. For this, they have to appear in hafiz-e-Quran test. This test will be carried out by KMC officials.

 

Only those applicants can apply for this MBBS program who have cleared and passed with their intermediate studies with F. Sc subjects or they should have passed their higher secondary studies in equivalent subjects with biology, physics, chemistry from IBCC.

As we did already mention that for the admission process in King Edward Medical College, entry test has been taken by PMC. This entry test was based on objective type questions. It consisted of 220 multiple choice questions including physics subject that had 44 questions, chemistry subject had 58 questions, biology subject had 88 questions and English subject had 30 questions. This entry test has weightage of 50% marks and your intermediate marks has weightage of 40% and 10% percentage will be taken from your matriculation marks.
