New admission 2024 notice has been announced for the Public Sector medical and dental colleges of Khyber Pakhtunkawa session 2023-2024. Khyber medical university as KMU being one of the most admitted university centers has opened the applications for the MBBS/BDS in the public sector medical or dental colleges in KPK and for the reciprocal seats in AJK and other provinces.

Eligibility
Applicant should have at least gained 65% of the marks score in the FSC from any BISE board of Pakistan or abroad.
It is also mandatory that the applicant should have passed the MDCAT test with at least 60% of the marks score.
For the SAT II, applicant should have 60% or above marks in each subject.
Applicant should have the domicile of KPK.
Merit Criteria
Final selection of the candidate merit list will be made on the basis of the aggregate marks which will be calculated through the formula of Pakistan Medical Commission and Department of Health. Merit criteria will be:
Secondary school certificate marks will be 10%
Intermediate pre medical marks will be 40%
MDCAT/SAT II marks will be 50%
How to Apply in Public Sector Medical Colleges of KPK For Admission 2024?
Candidate will apply online by visiting the official site of KMU as www.kmuadmissions.pk. Create an account by clicking on this link and complete the whole application process. You have to enter all your details asked for. Select the seat category on which you want to apply such as open, backward areas, disable candidate, FATA, APS or minorities. For the self-finance seats, candidate has to fill a separate form with fee submission.
Print the deposit slip form and submit it in the bank branch of MCB Bank at the processing fee cost of Rs 300. This fee is not for self-finance seats. Login once again and verify the details of your payment. Attach the copy of slip and keep the original slip with you to show it at the time of admission 2024 schedule.

Last date to submit the form is 0th Dec, 2023.
Quran test will be on 0th December, 2023.
Provincial merit list will be displayed on 0st Dec, 2023.
Submission of claims regarding merit list will be on 00 December, 2023.
Final merit list will be displayed on 0th Dec, 2023.
Placement for the various categories will be on 0st Dec, 2023.
