Lahore High Court Has Invited Applications For Posts Of Civil Judge Cum Judicial Magistrate 2024

Lahore High Court has invited applications on prescribed forms, from eligible Punjab domicile holders candidates for appointment as Civil Judge-cum-Judicial Magistrate. Two percent quota has been reserved for disable candidates. Candidates will have to submit both hard and soft copies of application. Last date for submission of applications is 0-01-2024. Selected candidates will be granted 17th grade many other admissible allowances.

 

 

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must have degree in law (LLB) from any recognized university.
Two years practice is also required after law graduation. Explanation has been given in the newspaper ad on this page. Applicant’s age must be between 22 to 35 years on closing date. No relaxation in upper and lower age limit will be granted.

 

Selection Criteria

First of all written entry test will be taken w.e.f 0th March, 2024. Total marks of the test will be 700 and it will comprise of following subjects
Civil Law 1
Civil Law 2
Criminal Law
English
General Law
Urdu
General Knowledge
Marks of each section will be 100. Successful applicants who will get more than 50% marks in in objective type test will have to appear in Psychological and aptitude test. In the last interview will be conducted.

 

 

Documents Required

1-All educational documents from matriculation to last degree.
2-Domicile certificate
3-CNIC
4-Enrollment certificate as an advocate lower courts
5-Enrollment certificate as an advocate High Court
6-Character certificate issued by president of respective district bar council
7-Government employees will have to produce appointment letter
8-Five attested passport size photographs. One should be attested from front and four from back.
9-Two years experience certificate as an advocate dully countersigned by president of respective Bar and District and Sessions Judge.
10-Experience certificate issued by competent authority (if applicable).

 

 

Application Procedure

Online prescribed forms are available on www.lhc.gov.pk. Candidates will have to submit no-refundable examination fee Rs. 4000/- through any branch of MCB in PLS A/C No given in the newspaper ad.
After filling in the online form take its print out and send the form to Registrar Lahore High Court along with original fee deposit slip and all required documents.

 

 

Points to Remember

1-Incomplete and late applications will be rejected summarily. Applicants will not be allow to remove any deficiency after the closing date.

2-Only those candidates will be called for viva voce who will get minimum 45% marks in each individual paper and 50% marks in the aggregate of the examination. Names of failed and absent candidates in interviews will not be included in the merit list.

3-Only eligible candidates will be intimated about the venue, date and time of examination through SMS, email, post or press.

4-Candidature or appointment of such candidates will be cancelled who will conceal the facts.

5-Government employees (Prosecutors, Legal Advisors, Public Pleaders, Attorneys etc) can apply through proper channel.

6-Dismissed/removed ex-legal officers or resigned for the sake of avoiding penalty under Efficiency & Discipline Rules are not eligible to apply.
