Master of Law is a highly valuable degree not only in Pakistan but also in the entire world. LLM is a post graduate degree designed for those lawyers who want to specialize in any particular field of law. It is a two years program in Pakistan. LLM is a post graduate degree in the field of law. No distance learning university is offering Master of Law program in Pakistan. LLM is a regular programs but practicing lawyer can join this program in evening till now as HEC has recommended to conduct the LLM classes in morning only. Although LLM program is available under annual system but now HEC has also recommended that LLM program should be be based on semester system, having four semesters. According to HEC, LLM will be equivalent to M.Phil degree and it will be a thirty credit hours program (24 credit hours for the course-work and six credit hours for the thesis /research paper).

Entry Requirements
Candidates having LLB degree with minimum second division or CGPA of 3.00 can apply for admission LLM program. The students with strong academic back ground are given preference. Medium of instruction and medium of exam is English in LLM program. Students also have to write a thesis in LLM.
