MBBS In China For Pakistani Students 2024
It is said that students who get MBBS degree from China can not get government job in Pakistan. Its a wrong perception as you can get job in government hospital after clearing PMDC exam for the purpose of registration. Again there is a perception that clearing PMDC exam is very difficult. I don’t agree with this as its all depends upon your hard work. But before taking admission in any Chinese medical college you must get assurance about following things.
1-Get NOC From PMDC before applying in any Chinese medical or dental university or college as only those graduates will be eligible to appear in National Examination Board exam for the purpose of registration of the BDS and MBBS with PMDC, who will have this NOC.

2-Medium of instruction should be English although you will have to learn Chinese language for everyday use.
3-Institute in which you intend to proceed for studies must be included in the WHO’s directory of medical schools as PMDC will
issue the No Objection Certificate only to those students who will apply in a medical institutions included in the World Health Organisation’s directory of medical schools.
4-To avoid any fraud try to chose such a consultant or university which allow you to pay the university fee after arrival in China.
5-Females should get admission in a medical school which has separate hostel for girls.
6-Muslim students must make it sure that Mosque and Halal food should be available within the campus.

Pros
MBBS and BDS expenditures in China are about 1.3 to 1.6 million rupees. Generally there is no any condition for IELTS or bank statement. Visa ratio of Pakistani students is very high. Medium of instruction in majority of universities is English. Chinese education system is the 4th best in the whole world. Medical schools have foreign qualified faculty members. Large number of students come from many countries every year in China. Pakistani students welcomed by the native people. Only 60% marks are required for admission in MBBS in China. No entry test is required.
Cons
Very limited universities offer scholarships for overseas students. Students have to learn Chinese language, which is an extra burden on them. Medical students are not allowed to work during their studies. Students have to clear PMDC NEB exam after graduation. MBBS degree holders from China are not give preference in local job market. Many consultants provide wrong information just for the sake of earning money. Academically weak students have to face difficulty in covering the tough syllabus of medical science. Such students also fail in PMDC NEB exam. If a student with lower than 70% decides to go China for MBBS then he must concentrate on his studies.
