The education department of Punjab province has now devised and came up with new rules and policies which are linked with private schools system. These new rules and policies have been made regarding the fees and dues structure of private schools. Fees Rule Details Given by Education Department of Punjab Province
If any of the private school is charging Rs 4000 monthly fees or more then they can only increase 5% of their fees structure on a per year basis. So parents should note that if they are paying Rs 4000 fees or more for their children then they should make sure that school only increase 5% of fees on an annual basis.
If any single private school wants to increase their fees and dues structure more than 5% then they have to notify this arrangement to district education authority. Any school which is increasing more than 5% of their fees structure on annual basis, they should give a valid reason to district education authority that why they are increasing fees and structure of their dues. They should submit a request to district education authority department 60 days before they make a increase in their fees structure. Note that registering authority can only allow any private school to make just 3% further increase in their dues structure.

Private schools should keep in mind that they cannot force any parent regarding buying of uniform and stationary from any fixed shop. Many private schools pressurize parents that they should be buying their kids uniform and stationary from their mentioned shops. This practise should be stop now. Parents should be given freedom that they can buy their child books and uniform from their desired shops.
Registering authority can carry out inspection of private schools at any time. This authority can also make desired changes in their rules and regulations at any time. Note that if any private school will violate any single rule and regulation then they will be charged with fine of amount Rs 20,000 on a per day basis.
If any of the private school will violate rule for continuous 30 days then fine of amount Rs 2 lakh till Rs 20 lakh can be charged on them.
