This National University of Medical Sciences (NUMS University) has now opened their admissions for their MBBS and BDS programs. Seats for NUMS University MBBS & BDS Admission 2023 Proceedings
In the Army medical college, all seats are open merit and the admission will be given on the merit basis. On the other hand, 15 seats are reserved for the foreign students or for the overseas Pakistanis.
If applying in the Federal medical and dental college, then 6 seats are the open merit seats and 38 seats are reserved for the Punjab region candidates. 9 seats are for Sindh rural and 6 seats are for Sindh urban. 9 seats are for KPP province and 5 seats are for the Balochistan province students. 2 seats each are reserved for the GB, FATA and Azad Jammu and Kashmir students.
Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto Shaheed Medical college, 10 seats are open merit seats and 54 seats are for the refugees. Then 10 seats are the self finance seats. For the overseas Kashmiris, 5 seats are fixed for them. 4 seats are reserved for the KPK students and 2 seats are assigned to the candidates belonging to the province of Balochistan.
Eligibility for NUMS University MBBS & BDS Admission 2023
The candidate should have 60% marks in his or her FSc pre medical exams, he or she can have the equivalent education too. Your merit will be determined by considering 10% weightage of your matriculation exam marks, 40% of the inter exam marks and 50% of the entry test marks. To have admission in the Army medical college or to take admission in the Federal medical and dental college, you have to pass and appear for the NUMS University-MDCAT test. Or to be in the Azad Jammu and Kashmir medical and dental colleges, you have to pass the UHS medical entrance test.
