PEEF & Punjab Govt Offers CM Punjab Merit Scholarships CMMS 2024 For PhD Students in Foreign Countries
Punjab government is trying its best to facilitate the students of province by offering them merit and need based scholarships through PEEF. Large number of talented students in Pakistan can not continue their higher eduction due to lack of funds. Government has introduced many schemes to facilitate such students like Prime Minister Fee Reimbursement scheme and NBP student loan scheme. Now Punjab government has announced PEEF & CM Punjab merit scholarships (CMMS) scheme for PhD students.
Who Are eligible For PEEF Scholarship 2024 Under CMMS?
Only the students can apply who have an valid admission offer from any of the top 50 universities of the world. The applicant must have got more than sixty percent marks in all the exams. Total monthly income of candidate’s family must be below Rs. 200,000/-. The candidate’s age must be below 35 years and he must not have availed any PEEF and foreign scholarship before. These PEEF scholarships are available only for the Pakistani students. Preference will be given to residents of Punjab province.
All interested applicants can download the PEEF scholarship form from the official website of PEEF ie (www.peef.org.pk/phdscholarships.asp. You may also get free PEEF scholarship form from the office of PEEF.
PEEF & CM Punjab Merit Scholarships (CMMS) covers not just the tuition fees, but also the boarding & lodging expenditure and the return air ticket for the student. Professors lecturers and teachers who are associated with any public educational institutions in the country are not eligible to apply for PEEF & CM Punjab merit scholarships (CMMS).
Few seats have been reserved under special quota for the deserving students of Azad Jammu & Kashmir, GB and Federally administrated tribal area. Applicants will have to arrange the admission and visa for themselves. PEEF can reject any application.Interested candidates can apply for PEEF & CM Punjab Merit Scholarships (CMMS) till 0st March, 2024.
