Students Alert -List of PCP’s Recognized Institutes For Pharm-D & B Pharmacy
Pharmacy Council of Pakistan has issued the list of recognized institutions for B Pharmacy and Pharm-D and other programs. We have uploaded the list of PCP recognized institutions on this page. Students are directed to take admission only in PCP registered and recognized institutes. Any other institute has not been allowed to start Pharmacy classes. Such institutes which are not included in the list given on this page are being run without permission by PCP. Pharmacy council will not register the students of such institutes. Students who want to get admission in any Pharmacy program must take admission in an institute which offer course and facilities recognized/permitted by PCP. Remember that the eligibility criteria for admission in Pharm-D has been revised in 2009 and now only those students are eligible to get admission in Pharm-D, who has got at least 60% marks in F.Sc Pre Medical or any equivalent exam.
Current students of Pharm-D are directed to enroll themselves with PCP through their institutions, because their registration as Pharmacist after completing the degree depends upon their enrollment with Pharmacy Council of Pakistan. PCP also approves the seats quota for each institution for morning and evening classes. Institutes are not allowed to admit students more than their allotted quota. Some institutions are only allowed to start classes in morning. So keep these things too in your mind before taking admission.
