Federal government of Pakistan has launched the PM Health Insurance Scheme . Its a great step by present government towards making our country a welfare state. This PM health insurance scheme has been launched for those people of the society who are living below the poverty line. Now victims of fatal diseases will not have to borrow loans for the treatment of their diseases. Government will provide up to 3 lac rupees to each heath card insurance holder in a calendar year. This limit can be exceeded up to 6 lac rupees. Initially PM health insurance scheme has been launched in 15 districts of Pakistan. Soon it will be extended in 23 districts of Pakistan.
More than 3.2 million families will be benefited through PM health insurance scheme. Government is going to start a social mobilization campaign for registration of Prime Minister Health Insurance Scheme. Patients of diabetes, cancer, hepatitis and other fatal diseases will be treated free of cost under this Prime Minister health insurance scheme. At present just residents of Punjab and Baluchistan can get health insurance card as provincial governments of KPK and Sindh are not ready to join this program due to political differences with PML (N). We request the provincial governments of these provinces to avail this opportunity of serving their people.
