Pakistan Medical Commission PM&DC Invites Applications For Admission 2023 in Private Medical and Dental Colleges
PMDC known as Pakistan Medical and Dental Council will be sending invitations to the applicants at a national level for all those students who are seeking to get admission in dental colleges or private medical colleges soon after MDCAT result announcement. You can access the portal through the official website of Pakistan Medical Commission as www.pmdc.pk.
The portal will start the processing from 0th December 2023 and it will remain open till 0th January 2024. Only those applications will be accepted which are submit into the portal. No in-person or email submission will be accepted. Incomplete application form or any application form as submit after the closing date will not be accepted.
All administered and affiliated colleges of Agha Khan University and NUMS are not associated with the portal of PMDC admission. If you want to apply in any of the said colleges, then you should directly get in touch with relevant university.
Eligibility RequirementsÂ
Eligibility Criteria of PMDC is discussed below:
At least 65% of the score or above it in the F.SC/HSSC or the A-levels equivalent to the IBCC certificate.
60% or above marks in MDCAT or in SAT II. SAT II is designed for the foreign students only. For SAT II, 60% score is necessary in each subject.
MDCAT Exemption Criteria for the Foreign Students for 2023-2024
If you want to qualify yourself for the admission for 2023 session, then you can use your SAT II results instead of submitting MDCAT results. This is just required for the students who have initially completed their HSSC programs or 12 years of education in high school as outside Pakistan.
If your SAT II score is less than 480 in each subject, then you are not eligible to apply for the admission. Weightage over various subject results within SAT II are as followed up:
Biology is 40%
Chemistry is 35%
Physics/Maths is 25%
Important Documents Required
Few major documents to attach with the application form are:
Passport photograph
Passport or CNIC
F-SC HSSC or A Level equivalency documentation
SAT-I Documentation if you are applying on SAT 1 condition
Applicants have the free choice to decide any of the colleges according to their requirements. You can select just one college through BDS or MBBS program. Merit criteria will be:
FSc or A-levels IBCC Equivalence certificate is 30%
MDCAT or SAT I is 50%
Interview score will be 20% as conducted by selected college
On the basis of the selection, 80% will be counted against the previous marks of the student educational career. 20% is arranged for the interview session. College will also add the score from the interview and will consolidate it with FSC or MDCAT marks aggregate of any student as issued by the PMDC.
Final merit list of the candidates will be issues by the PMDC for all colleges on 0th January 2024.
