KPK government has introduced Police Assistance Lines (PAL). The purpose of this initiative is to facilitate general public by providing them quick service regrading their general problems. Now a common citizen can contact PAL for following services
1-Report of theft and dacoity
2-Attestation of National identity card
3-Attestation of vehicles
4-Report for lost thing
5-Security clearance certificate
6-Police character certificate
7-Report of lost children
8-For free legal advice
9-Report of rent agreement and TIF form
10-Report against Bhatta (Forced monthly money collection by criminals) collection

Its a realty that common person hesitate to launch a FIR against any crime due to misconduct of police department. This a first step towards reforms in police department.
