Mines Labour Welfare Organization Punjab (Mines and Minerals Department) Scholarships 2024
Punjab government has announced the details about scholarships 2024 for children of mines workers. Mines Labour Welfare Organization of Punjab (Mines and Minerals Department) has invited applications from wards of mine laborers for educational scholarships of session 2024-25. Pre matric day scholar students will be given monthly scholarship of 500 rupees. Intermediate day scholar students will be given Rs. 1600 as scholarship. Day scholar students of bachelor classes will be given 2000 rupees per month while boarders will be given Rs.3000/-. Post graduate day scholar students will be granted Rs.4000/- while boarders will get 5000 per month.

For details about definition of laborer read the newspaper ad. Attach CNIC of mine laborer and form b or CNIC of applicant with the application form. Students who are studying in the schools of Mines labor welfare organization/Punjab workers welfare board are not eligible to apply for these scholarships 2024. Candidates who are already receiving scholarships from workers welfare board are also not eligible to apply. Applications should be complete in all aspects. Applications with over writing and cutting will not be accepted. Unattested and incomplete applications will also be rejected. Scholarships will be given to maximum 2 students in a family. Students of prep and nursery are not eligible to apply for these scholarships. Attach the appointment letter of worker with the application form.
More Details
Disable workers will have to attach the certificate of at least 50% disability issued by any government hospital. Students of post matric and all above classes will have to attach photocopies of their previous year/semester result cards. Applications without required documents and more than one applications for current session/class will be rejected. Students from private educational institutions will also have to attach the attested copy of registration of their institution with the application form.

Attestation of attached documents is mandatory from relevant lease holder or from his appointed manager/agent. Send dully filled forms to the office of relevant mines labor welfare officer till 0st October, 2024. Late applications will not be entertained. Scrutiny committee reserves the right of rejecting incomplete application without giving any notice. If you have already applied for these scholarships 2024 then do not apply again.
