Punjab Government Will Grant 17000 Additional Scholarships to Girls Students of 11 Districts Through PEEF
Punjab government has decided to distribute 17000 additional scholarships among brilliant but deserving girls students of 11 underdeveloped districts of the province. Total additional scholarships of 400 millions rupees will be distributed among female students of province. Provincial government has taken this step to promote higher education among females in the province. These need and merit base scholarships will be distributed among the girl students of following districts.

DG Khan
UK Aid is collaborating with provincial government in this program. Punjab educational endowment fund (PEEF) is supervising this scheme. PEEF has send scholarship forms to brilliant students belonging to lower income class at their home addresses. Female students have been selected purely on merit basis. As a whole provincial government is going to distribute 80,000 scholarships of 4.2 billion rupees among the students of Punjab and other provinces.
