Punjab Police is going to recruit civilian staff of Senior Station Assistants and Police Station Assistants to manage and computerize the police station record. In the first stage this staff will be recruited for following cities.

The aim of this pilot project us to facilitate the general public. In case of success of this pilot project more staff will be recruited for police stations of other cities. These are contract Jobs and police department will take the written test for selection purpose. Successful candidates will be given training of six weeks before appointment in police stations. These officers will work alternatively in three shifts. Recruitment process will be completed till 24-08-2023.
CTS has invited the applications for the posts of Senior Station Assistants and Police Station Assistants.
Eligibility Criteria
Only domicile holders of related cities are eligible to apply for these posts.
Candidates must have good command over IT.
Candidate must be committed to serve the citizens.
Senior Station Assistant
Candidate’s age must be between 18 to 25 years.
Candidates must have passed the I.C.S exam. Candidates with BSc and BS degree holders in related fields will be given preference
Three years experience in the related field is also compulsory.
Selected candidates will be given BPS 9.
Total 122 posts of Senior Station Officers have been advertised.
Police Station Assistant
Age Limit- 18 to 25 years
Experience Required- Nil
Number of Posts Available- 940
Grade- 07
Selected candidates will be given best performance base career growth opportunities.
Last date for submission of forms is 24 August, 2023. Entry test will be conducted soon. Content weight=age of the test will be as under

Points To Be Remember
1-Transgenders can also apply for the posts of SSA and PSA.
2-English and Urdu typing speed should be not less 35 WPM and 25 WPM respectively.
3-Students having MS Office certificate from any reputed institute will be given preference.
4-For online registration visit www.punjabpolice.gov.pk and upload the required documents on the same portal.
5-Entry test fee will be 2500 rupees. You will have to upload the fee receipt too. Current government and semi govt employees will also upload NOC.
6-15, 5 and 3% quotas have been allocated for females, minorities and special candidates respectively.
7-First of all candidates will appear in Urdu and English typing test. Then successful candidates will appear in CBT (Computer Based Test). In the last qualifying candidates will be called for interview with the ration of 3:1.
