Punjab Workers Welfare Board Lahore Scholarships 2020-21
Punjab Workers Welfare Board has invited applications for talent scholarships from the wards of industry and mine workers in session 2020-21. Application forms will be available from the office of labor department/relevant district office or office of assistant mines labor welfare commissioner (for wards of mine workers) from 01-02-2020. Last date for submission of applications along with attested copies of following documents in the same office is 31-03-2020.
Father’s CNIC and social security card/old age benefits card.
Father’s factory card.
Appointment letter of worker.
Registration certificate of institution under Factories Act 1934 or Mines Act 1923.
CNIC or family registration certificate of applicant.
Character certificate of father.
Affidavit by applicant on stamp paper of twenty rupees.
Wards of disable or deceased workers will have to provide the proof of receiving the disability pension or death grant.
Receipts or attested copies of receipts of tuition fee and hostel dues.
Student card and admission certificate . Applicants who are applying on the basis of admission offer letter by university, medical or engineering college do not need to submit college card and admission certificate.
If institution is private then provide the affiliation certificate of institution with board or university.
1-If a student will leave the studies before completing his/her degree, he/she will have to pay back all the amount received under Punjab Workers Welfare Board Talent Scholarship.
2-Incomplete and late applications will not be received, however students of universities, medical and engineering colleges can apply at the time of getting admission.
3-Candidate who have got admission in the current year are eligible to apply for Punjab Workers Welfare Board Talent Scholarship.
4-Students who have applied last year and now they are studying in the next semester or class, will have to apply with their last result card, detail of educational expenditure along with attested receipts.
Punjab Workers Welfare Board Talent Scholarship’s Amount
Eligible students will be given all educational expenditures including transport charges, hotel and mess charges, admission, tuition, registration, examination library and lab fee. Monthly stipend as per following table will also be given.
Inter or equivalent -Rs 1600/month
Graduation or equivalent- Rs. 2500/month
Post graduation BE, MBBS/BDS – 3500/month
MS, MPhil/PhD – Admission registration and tuition fee only
1-Industry or mine worker or their children who have got admission in college/university on merit after clear the NTS or internal entry test are eligible to apply for Punjab Workers Welfare Board Talent Scholarship.
2-Applicants must have got admission in any HEC recognized program as a full time student.
3-Students will not be allowed to change the course or class otherwise his/her scholarship will be cancelled.
